Privacy & membership

OH-pera is an invitation-only club for adults aged 18 or older. An account alone does not grant club access. You must verify the invited email address and accept a valid personal invitation.

Supabase handles account email addresses, password credentials and sessions. Your member profile contains a display name and optional biography. Active members within two invitation steps in either direction can see your profile. Founders have the same profile visibility limits, with additional membership administration permissions.

Your inviter can see their invitation history, including the email they invited. Leaving or suspension preserves the invitation chain without shortening the distance between remaining members. Blocking hides profiles in both directions. Membership changes are recorded for administration.

Saved performances belong to your account. Signing out hides them without deleting them. The calendar requires active membership. Opera schedules themselves come from public sources; tickets are purchased on the presenter’s website under its own privacy policy.

When you mark “I’m going,” your attendance contributes to the total club count. Your name is shown only to eligible connections, and other members’ past attendance is not disclosed. Private messages are available within your two-step circle; blocking prevents new messages but keeps existing conversation history. Read receipts and online status are not shared in this version. Do not post meeting locations publicly; arrange them in your private conversations.

Personal invitation codes expire after seven days and are bound to the invited email. The database stores a hash of the invitation token. Your browser tab temporarily remembers the token so you can finish registration; it is removed after acceptance. Share your invitation code only with its intended recipient.

Hosting and authentication providers may process IP addresses and request logs. OH-pera does not receive your ticket payment details. Contact Ivaylo or Anastasiya for help with membership or your data. Supabase privacy policy
